Sebenernya bukan soal delay atau nggaknya, tapi soal dihargai sebagai penumpang apa enggak. Dulu gue pernah ngalamin delay paling lama seumur hidup: 9 jam di Malaysia waktu mau transit ke Jeddah. Tapi anehnya, gue sama sekali gak kesel. Kenapa? Karena infonya transparan dari awal. Maskapai ngasih kepastian waktu, kompensasi jelas, dan gue tahu persis harus ngapain. Alhasil, 9 jam itu malah jadi mini trip seru—gue bisa keluar bandara, wara-wiri keliling kota, jajan santai, terus balik lagi dengan mood aman sentosa. Plot twist-nya, hari ini mental gue beneran diuji di negeri sendiri. Mau terbang balik ke Jakarta dari Pontianak, tiba-tiba dapet kabar penerbangan cancel. Gak ada omongan jelas, gak ada kejelasan solusi, dan pas mau urus refund birokrasinya kayak mau ngajuin proposal tender, ribetnya minta ampun. Makin lengkap karena pas berangkat kemarin pun udah ada red flag: gate mendadak pindah tanpa pengumuman yang proper, bikin satu ruang tunggu lari-larian gak jelas kayak lagi ikut uji nyali.
