It kind of irked me Kara didn't make her own suit in the CW series. In the comics she actually designs a more durable suit than SuperMans when she's a teenager. She lets Batman analyze it so Clark can have a suit of the same materials. Kara even tells Batman that Earth's materials and technology are very primitive, with better materials and tech she'd make a better suit, which she eventually does later on
