What I find really infuriating about these type of stories is the grandparents acting like letting the guy have custody would be “giving up their last connection.” Idk about anyone else but if I hired a friend to be a surrogate, that kid has 3 pairs of grandparents. The surrogate’s parents would be respected as much as my own.

Realistically if there is going to be a long fight that you may lose it may be best for your long term health to just give that up then before you develop more of a bond with the child and walk away. Sucks but logically may make the most sense

So what ended up happening is the dad decided that he would rather give up the baby to the grandparents because he didn’t want him to grow up in foster care. he said goodbye to the baby and then his friend and then the grandparents decided that the baby belongs with him.

He offer to let the baby go to them because the courts put it in foster care until their dispute settles and he doesn't want his baby in foster care. This makes them realize he's a good man and they give him the baby. The end.
