I STOPPED TRYING TO “WIN” EVERY DAY — AND STARTED BUILDING A LIFE I DIDN’T WANT TO ESCAPE FROM. For years, I thought success meant work harder, train harder, make more money, accomplish more, repeat. But the older I get, the more I realize that building a great body while the rest of your life is falling apart isn’t success. Neither is building a business that consumes you. Or constantly comparing yourself to people online. Or saying yes to everyone because you’re afraid of disappointing them. Or working so much that you forget to actually live. The standard I’m trying to live by today looks different: Choose carefully what gets your attention. Train even when motivation isn’t there. Stop waiting for the perfect time and take the first step. Put the important things on the calendar. Know when to work — and when to unplug. Stop trying to make everybody like you. Track what matters so you can be honest about where you are. And make sure some of what you build is used to give back. I’m still working on all of these. That’s the point. The BodyHD Standard isn’t perfection. It’s having standards you keep coming back to when life pulls you away from them. Your body. Your mindset. Your relationships. Your business. Your purpose. Build all of it. Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to look successful. I want to build a life that actually feels successful. If you’re ready to rebuild your lifestyle, get back in shape, create more discipline, and start holding yourself accountable again… Comment “LIFESTYLE” below. 💪🏾🌱
