@sinnerbybirth: 🔴FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS - On this feast day 9/15 as Fr. Bret was saying the words of consecration of the Chalice, a great grace of God came upon him. The reality of the wine ceasing to be wine and now is truly the Blood of Christ overtook him. The Cross not only is a sacrifice of love it’s Gods divine mercy manifest. I had a similar experience after confession I kneeled before a crucifix and started crying. Yet I constantly fall into temptation and fail God. Despite our sins and failures, Gods mercy endures. Finally, 1 John 4:19 “19 We love because he first loved us.” The Mass isn’t simply a religious act, a ancient ceremony or a ritual, it is a true sacrifice, an encounter with Jesus as He once break bread, as Pope St John Paul 2 said “Where Heaven meets Earth” SOURCE OF VIDEO: st gabriel the archangel hopkins mn (video on YouTube) #catholic #Eucharist #HolyMass #fyp

Never happened to me in all the Protestant churches I grew up in. Then I became an atheist for 20 years. Went to my first Catholic Mass four weeks ago, and as I walked in and looked up at the giant crucifix hanging from the ceiling, tears streamed down my face. Happened then and every Mass since.

This is the point where Heaven descends upon the Earth. He is standing before all of Heaven receiving Jesus! All of our guardian angels at this moment are kneeling at the alter, before ALL of Heaven!!! This is a Powerful moment for ALL WHO TAKE THIS BREAD!!!! I hope this changes people’s hearts and understand the “WHY” we attend the Holy Mass. This video is Very Emotional and Extremely Impactful!!!!

This is so beautiful. My husband and I are converting to Catholicism and encountering Jesus during the Eucharistic prayer was one of the most precious moments when we began to go to Mass back in April. we couldnt stop crying. we knew it was Jesus. We have been Protestants for 44+ years in Pentecostal and charismatic services amd never encountered his presence like we did during the Transubstantiation. it is like no other encounter we have ever known.

The next time you go to confession, thank your priest for his sacrifice and tell him you’ll pray for him. He’ll be speechless. Pray for all who serve the church.

Fr. Brent was given a particular grace by the Lord. He received "experiential knowledge of knowing on a deeper level that truly Christ's blood was shed for us and that its weight is profound" according to Fr. Paul. Hence Fr. Brent had difficulty lifting the chalice.

My childhood priest always choked up too. (Didn’t sob like this tho) But when you understand the gravity and beauty of the sacrifice before you, it’s hard not to become emotional. This is why it’s SO IMPORTANT to receive the Eucharist worthily in a state of grace.

I’m pretty sure he saw a revelation during the consecration, personal encounter with the King himself. The other day in Adoration Mass with the Eucharist, as the Lector was reading the Reading, she started crying as well. She said she was seeing how the Holy Spirit was coming out of the Sacred Eucharist and standing over it looking at us. The Catholic Faith is so beautiful and is endless joy when you learn to live it, you just fall in love with Him.
