@peak4cinema: DANIEL AND THE FIERY FURNACE (2026) brings the early story of the prophet Daniel to the big screen against the backdrop of Jerusalem’s fall and the Jewish exile in Babylon. Mena Massoud stars as Daniel, a young man forced to live inside a powerful foreign empire while trying to remain faithful to everything he believes. . Elijah Alexander plays King Nebuchadnezzar, whose demand for absolute worship creates the film’s central conflict. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refuse to bow before the king’s image, they are sentenced to be thrown into a blazing furnace rather than abandon their faith—leading to one of the most famous miracles in the Book of Daniel. . Written and directed by brothers Matthew and Daniel Kooman, the 108-minute biblical drama also stars Zaki Ali, Adam Lahraoui, and Sunjay Midda. The film focuses on courage under persecution, loyalty to God, and the cost of standing firm when obedience could mean death. . DANIEL AND THE FIERY FURNACE, starring Mena Massoud and Elijah Alexander, in theaters September 18. . #menamassoud #babylon #biblemovie #faith #christianmovies

Daniel, Azariah, Mishael, and Hananiah were among the exiles. There names were changed to Babylonian names. Belteshazzar was Daniel’s. The Book of Daniel is a great book about extraordinary faith. These Hebrew men never wavered and still lived by Jewish law.
