Gender neutral is almost always masculine, society is okay with a women dressing masculine because it’s a power up but not men dressing feminine cause that’s losing power with our lil hierarchy

that’s only because, societally, when gender indicators are removed, we tend to default to assuming boy. Notice how the sign on the men’s bathroom is literally just a person.

As someone who knew the gender and bought girly clothes... my daughter was still called a boy daily because we didn't use bows😂. People just call them whatever lol

I bought a few fabric flowers and bows and just sew them onto the body 😂 it’s giving girlie vibes then and in case you’ll have a second baby and it’s a boy you can easily remove them 🙏

I have a strong preference for my babies of both sexes to wear bright, colorful, fun clothes and it pains me that “gender neutral” really just means muted earth tones. Where’s all the vibrant yellows, oranges, and purples?? And why does every yellow botanical outfit have ruffles? Boys can’t wear leaves??

my son had so many gender neutral clothes cos i got too excited as soon as i found out i was pregnant and then i hated them all when i found out he was a boy 😂 next baby i’ll be waiting til i know the gender

did you know little bby girl clothes are smaller than boys at the same size in the same store? my son was born smal and i found only girl clothes that fits him, even the premie stuff!
