for clarification: Ali is a sacred figure in Shia Islam. he's calling on Ali for help, basically the equivalent of saying "oh my God" or sth like "Jesus, help me" it's a very, very common expression among Iranians. Ali is not his son or friend who got stuck somewhere, and he obviously wasn't the pilot.
