@mothershipsg: Anthropic, the company behind AI tool Claude, will open a Singapore office in October— its 5th office in the Asia-Pacific region after Tokyo, Bengaluru, Seoul and Sydney. Singapore placed 2nd out of 121 countries for Claude.ai usage relative to population, according to a report by the company. Anthropic said demand has been strong in regulated sectors such as financial services and government, and that it plans to work with a variety of organisations here and will be hiring for a range of roles.
