It gathers hundreds of objects from the Henson archive, spanning Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Sesame Street and Farscape. Practical puppets, animatronic creatures, props, costumes, original drawings and moving image clips fill the galleries across four spaces. For anyone who grew up on this stuff, it is a rare chance to stand inside the worlds behind the screen. WHAT IS INSIDE 🧩 The scale: hundreds of objects, from hand puppets to full animatronic creatures, plus props, costumes and original drawings. 🏰 The world first: walk through the Great Hall, Doc's House and Boober's Cave, the real sets from Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. 🐦 The characters: come face to face with Big Bird, the Skeksis from The Dark Crystal and the Fraggles. MAKE YOUR OWN 🧦 The Sock Puppet Studio: a hands on puppet building space running through the Queensland school holidays. 🎬 The clips: moving image from across the Henson worlds, including Labyrinth and Farscape. 🖍️ The archive: original concept drawings that show how the creatures came to life.
