Marcus Escaped the Snake… But What Else Is in the River? #action #survive #actionmovies #escape Marcus was still trapped underwater. His wrists were wrapped tightly with duct tape. He pressed the tape against a rough rock… and kept rubbing it back and forth. Finally, the tape broke. Marcus pulled his hands free. But then he noticed something moving through the water. A massive snake was right in front of him. For a moment, neither of them moved. Marcus stared directly at the snake. The snake stared back. Marcus slowly lowered both hands toward the sandy riverbed. Then suddenly… he swept his hands through the sand. A huge cloud of dirt and sediment exploded into the water. The snake pulled away as the water became almost impossible to see through. Marcus immediately disappeared into the cloud. By the time the snake looked around again… Marcus was gone. He swam toward the surface as fast as he could. Seconds later, Marcus broke through the water. He gasped for air. Then he started swimming away as quickly as possible. But the SWAT team spotted him. “There he is! Open fire!” The soldiers immediately began shooting toward Marcus. Water exploded around him as the shots hit the river. Marcus had no choice. He took a quick breath and dove underwater again. He swam deeper into the river, trying to disappear from sight. Then he noticed a massive fallen tree trunk floating downstream. Marcus quickly swam toward it and hid directly underneath the log, holding onto the submerged side with both hands. For a moment, it looked like the tree trunk might completely hide him. But the SWAT team noticed the drifting log. They realized Marcus could be underneath it… and started firing into the water around the tree trunk. Shots struck the river beside the log as Marcus held on tightly underneath. The current pulled the massive trunk farther downstream while Marcus stayed hidden beneath it, trying to escape. The current became stronger. Marcus held onto the massive trunk with both hands as it carried him farther downstream. The water around him became violent and turbulent. But he refused to let go. Hidden beneath the log, Marcus continued drifting away… while the search team slowly disappeared behind him. But where will the river take him next? - @filmstorylabhq
