70% of pensioners don’t rely on the state pension that they receive to live and 40% of pensioners are millionaires. State pension should be means tested just like other benefits (or how pension works in other countries).

Older people are so flush with cash in my area, they actually say they can’t spend it quick enough. No mortgage, often two generous final salary pensions, along with savings and investments.
