🧠 Overlooked candles can reveal more than dramatic ones, especially when a setup looks almost too perfect to question.    I remember watching a setup that had everything I usually wanted to see. Momentum was present, a key level was nearby, and several candles seemed to support the same direction, but something still felt off. Instead of focusing on the strongest candle, I started examining how the smaller candles behaved around it, where they closed, and whether participation was actually changing.    That habit completely changed how I approached candlesticks because I stopped treating them as patterns that needed to be memorized and started treating them as information that needed to be understood. A wick can reveal rejection, but its location gives that rejection meaning, while a strong body can show aggressive participation without necessarily suggesting that momentum will continue.    📊 Learning to read candles is really about noticing hesitation, pressure, failed attempts, and shifts in participation as they develop. I’ve watched traders enter simply because a candle looked perfect, only to realize afterward that they had ignored everything happening around it.    Good execution starts when you stop asking what pattern you’re looking at and start asking why that candle formed in that specific area, what happened immediately before it, and what changed afterward. That shift can make a chart feel completely different without changing a single candle.    #optionstrading #daytrading #stockmarket #damaristrades #tradingtips
