frenchie here, had 2 xantias . the first one i drove around 160km with a punctured back tire , without any discomfort or even any consequence. i simply looked at it the next morning and was like "uh oh" . easy tire swap with the hydraulic system you just make it go high and then back down on the jack thingy first one is still driven today by a young driver, the second one i got from an old grand-maman, and is now in too poor condition to be road legal. but it helped me greatly, and the worst part is its not even hydraulic issues, its the engine drinking oil like guiness in a pub, and the electrical relays making any Light or dashboard info faulty.

I grew up surrounded by old Citroëns so this isn’t new to me, but it’s still great to see a video about it! My dad still has a few knocking about. The high position was amazing for driving through floods, and the low position made it difficult to put a clamp on the wheel if you weren’t parked legally.. or so I was told 😂
