This happened to me Dano, go to the police department ask for a report and then ask to speak with the person assigned to your case . It takes time but please don’t give up . My case just closed last year 12-2025 and my case happened 2023. I did this alone no support . You have support. Don’t stop ❤️you deserve to do what you need to do to heal

I used to work at a hotel no joke we take giving a key to anyone very serious your name must match reservation with a valid form of identification so definitely was a worker either front desk agent or security maybe housekeeping.. the hotel should definitely reach out to dano this is heartbreaking! the hotel "may not be at fault" but that was THEIR employee so devastating for her this why women are so scared at check in and usually want to be checked in by women.

PSA there is normally a latch on top of every hotel door. I use this as an added safety measure, even with a key card you can’t go in. 🙏🏼
