I’m curious as you had stayed in a hotel after this happened, but many times when I’ve travelled they require a passport/ID at check in - did you experience this barrier? Did you have to return to the hotel you had originally stayed with?

I’m so sorry all this has happened to you, but didn’t you have an Apple tag and any of your belongings? Also, you didn’t have your purse with you. You had placed it with your luggage? And if they stole your bag with your credit cards and cash how did you pay for clothes before you left? And I’m not a hater so please don’t come at me.😩

I had to get an emergency passport in Tanzania. They don't respond to phone calls and didn't respond to email either. So I went in person. No one working at the American embassy was American. They said I couldn't come without an appointment. Noone else was waiting for help at all,, but the place was fully staffed. They clearly hated Americans. Anyway, I just kept the pressure on Tim they helped me. Shocking that people working there hate the people to they were supposed to help.
