@malou_ibrahim: The night King Von was killed, his young son, Dayvon, reportedly couldn’t sleep. He woke up crying softly, whispering, “Daddy,” as if his heart already knew that something was wrong. Just a few hours earlier, Von had put him to bed, kissed him on the forehead, and told him: “Be strong for me, champ.” Devon smiled and fell asleep, not knowing that it would be the last time he would see his father. When the news broke, Von’s sister reportedly broke down in tears. Devon looked around and asked why everyone was crying. He sat near the door, holding a chain of toys that his father had given him, waiting for Von to come home. But Von never came back. As the story goes, when Dayvon heard what had happened, he didn’t say anything. He simply held onto his father and refused to let go. People around him tried to comfort him. Messages, food, and gifts were sent to show him that he was not alone. And today, Von’s name continues to live on through his children, his music, and the people who loved him. The world lost a rapper, but a son lost his hero. Rest in peace, King Von. 🕊️🖤 #kingvon #demonduchicago #lildurk #von #chicago
