can anyone explain please...is it really OK the use puff pastry for the base of the pie too. I thought you would need to use shortcrust pastry for the base and then use puff just for the top. Thank you

My children are about to be so tired of pies for school. This is such a great idea. I bet it freezes well- before being baked, so I could bulk make them and pop them in the oven when I want them. Thanks for the great idea!
