Somalia :
As Somalis, we must face the deep trauma. We experienced during the war, after the war, and even to this day. 35 years of civil war is not a small thing. Every Somali family, whether in Somalia or in the diaspora, has been affected by some form of psychological trauma to different degrees. For many, it has even led to a loss of hope in Somalia. We have carried pain, loss, fear, displacement, and uncertainty for generations. This trauma lives in our memories, our families, and sometimes in our behaviour. It affects how we see ourselves, how we trust each other, and how we imagine the future of our country. Somalia will not truly rise again until we choose to face our trauma and heal from it. Healing is not a sign of weakness . it is a source of strength. When we heal, we can rebuild, cooperate, trust, and dream again. We reconnect with our land, our people, and our shared purpose. Somalia is more than a place. It is our home, our motherland, our identity, and our future. Let us heal, so we can rebuild Somalia together. 🇸🇴
