I think, the dynamic between them was so unstable and unpredictable that Armand restored to what he would usually do in a situation like that. Louis is feeling powerless after their whole tryst in Europe, so any power he gets ( he was a pimp so being powerless messed with his head) he'll snatch it up. 1/2
