How do you know where to fly them back to if you don’t process them? What do you do when the country you’re flying them to says those people aren’t our citizens we’re not taking them. where do you keep them while you’re waiting for a plane to take them. Why is Britain the only country that doesn’t have to take asylum applications Europe takes much much more even accounting for population size

People often say “why didn’t they just claim asylum legally before coming here?”, but the UK doesn’t have a general system for applying for asylum from abroad. You generally have to be in the UK to make an asylum claim. So arriving irregularly and then claiming asylum can be the only way for some people to access the UK asylum system.
