@solsticebloomsflowerfarm: A look into some 2027 preparations! I’m saving seeds from my favorite zinnias at my York PA flower farm, but I want them to be as close as possible to the original flowers so I’m hand pollinating. If I just saved seeds without bagging or hand pollinating, I could get any variation of all the different zinnias I grow since they’re all next to each other and the bees bounce around all of them. Hand pollinating gives you more control over how next year’s flowers will turn out so I’m hoping by doing this I’ll get more that look like these favorites and less low quality blooms next year.
