I have always been such a disappointment ever since i was in middle school. Then, i went to university only to make my parents proud of me. Unfortunately, I failed at semester one. I feel such a failure daughter and then i locked in for the next semester until my internship. I got dean list and is recently waiting for my degree. But, i guess i am the unluckiest human because two times i applied for degree, and still got rejected. I have always failed in my life, i should not get shock because this is not the first time life made me feel this way. But still, it hurts no less because i tried so hard but i guess life just trying to make me stay humble by not giving me things or life that i aimed to be. And now i’m looking for a job because trust me, being an unemployment is not as free as we thought. My dad always said i’m lazy and burden. That words stucked with me even until now. Now, I feel so stuck and left behind while watching all my friends and siblings are pursuing their studies and got their dream job. Please pray for me that one day i can be a daughter my parents proud of. And i also pray for whoever read this will get their dream life and live their life to the fullest.

it is a different kind of exhaustion when u have been the disappointment for so long that succeeding actually feels like a mistake. u get so used to people expecting u to fail that when someone is finally proud of u, ur first instinct is to pull away because u do not know how to receive it
