Two robbers dressed as police entered her suite, restrained her with zip ties and tape, and stole about $10 million worth of jewelry. Kardashian later said she feared she would be Rped or Mrdered during the robbery, calling it “the most terrifying experience of my life.” Last year, a French court found eight people guilty over their roles in the case. Several of the men became known in France as the “grandpa robbers” because six were in their 60s and 70s when they went on trial. On Tuesday, Kardashian and her stylist Simone Harouche, who was also present that night, said the ruling was not really about money. “Today’s decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition,” they said. Harouche was also awarded one euro, while a former hotel receptionist received more than €109,000. The hotel itself was awarded €50,000.
