Beyonce wouldn't even end up in that position in the first place. Her team definitely does a great job at background checking, and of course, people love her blindly. Just as queer folks are with Lady Gaga, nobody likes to remember she's a zio and pointing it out makes people hostile... Ed Sheeran is easier to cancel as he's not really an icon, a symbol of anything and now his own kind feels betrayed by him (I've seen Irish ppl talking about it here).
