This is how I felt until one day he spoke to me. I spent 30 days in the hospital & I was in pain desperate to sleep so I prayed for the first time since I got sick & told him “I don’t blame you for this & I won’t even ask you to make me better, but would you please give me enough relief to sleep” then I heard my name with “I’m going to take care of you” in a deep voice, and I thought someone was in the room with me until I opened my eyes and no one was there. The next day I was transferred to more intensive care for better treatment. They were going to start chemo on a date my mom worked & she had no more days off & that day was the only one she had left, the nurse came in and said since insurance accepted the treatment so fast that they were going to go ahead and start now so my mom got to be with me. I immediately started responding to the drugs and actually getting better when there was no improvement before.
