@c5news: Police in New Mexico were engaged in a somewhat unusual highway chase on Sunday – when a horse broke loose from a festival and went on the run. Santa Fe Police released footage of officers on motorcycles – supported by officers on bikes, animal services, drone operators and a “few cowboys” - trying to capture the elusive equine. The video was set to the Johnny Cash version of, ‘(Ghost) Riders in the Sky’. The horse was due to appear at the city’s Desfile de La Gente when it decided to take a look around “the beautiful sites of our city” instead, the force said in a Facebook post. The police department said officers on motorcycles were able to corral the horse on Canyon Road “and the owner was able to trot him back to the parade starting point in time for a quick drink of water before the parade started”. #5news #horse #policechase
