Today’s practise … I tried this song with no heels, then after I also danced it in heels . I have never done this way, but I wanted to see, if there was any differences between the videos. In barefoot the transitions between moves are a lot smoother. Also, I found myself a lot more creative with moves. Somehow being in heels makes me feel like I have to control the the steps a lot more. I suppose in heels the balance do shift so it adds extra coordination I have to worry about, let alone my brain is constantly searching for what moves will I do next 😂 but this is totally normal ! The more I practise at some point muscle memory will take it over. How long? Months ? Years ? We will see. For now this is my level, the knowledge I gathered from classes, jalsat wanasah , TikTok, whatever I can find. And you girls in the comment section … some of you are so harsh 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have a different upbringing than you , which is not my fault. Also, what music , and dance style I like , it’s also not my fault. I was born with it, but I’m willing to adjust when I get constructive criticism, but you telling me Khaleeji dance is not for you, stay with Egyptian ! Come on … take a chill pill and worry about yourself 🙏🏼
