Igbos were brought to present day Nigeria from Guinea by International British Organization (IBO). They were known as the naked servants of the British. The British settle them in that part of Nigeria, and integrated them with Edo people and the Igala people on that land. This is the reason the people of Onitsha , including Obi of Onitsha often remind these Nyamiri igbos that Onitsha people came from Benin Kingdom.
