AI is a tool- but I’ve noticed it’s also become an identity saver. Until you’ve worked in IT for 20 years, written hundreds of scripts, dashboards, integrations, and automations, you won’t get it.. the first time someone feels threatened by your history, experience, and knowledge, lobs “yeah, but I bet he uses AI”. I find it really funny how when you comment anything rational on tiktok, it’s presumed AI also. It’s a new way to libel and marginalize works, “he cheated”, “he copied it”, “yeah right”
