I had a similar beautiful relationship with my Maternal Grandmother. She literally saved me from my Mother. I have a cookbook of hers which I treasure but never really used or looked it, it’s smell was more connecting. Last Christmas I wanted to make some scones for a tea party on Boxing Day. As I loved Nana’s scones I decided to look for recipe in said book. I found one and she had written “Stephen’s favourite x x x” above the recipe and next to that was her buttery thumb print. I inherited that book in 1990 when she died. Before finding the recipe I had been thinking about the tea party and wishing I could invite her 35 years later. Then I found the recipe I had never looked at before. 🥰

Imagine the leaf wasn’t broken off….would you have noticed the earrings. I believe that’s a token from her to let you know she’s with you at the present time more then normal because your going through a phase where you need her right now 🥰 x

I lost what I was given by my granny when she passed. a necklace watch grandad bought her many moons ago. I was devastated thinking I lost it in the move when I split from my ex. many months later I was raking out the shoes from my wardrobe. a bag fell and put popped the necklace. to say I WHEPT!!!!

ive literally sobbed all the way through this! I lost my grandad in may this year and then not even 3 months my nan passed away 😭😭 shes always with you and glad you found the earrings ❤️xx

Oh I just love this so much. I found my grandads watch last year after misplacing it and when I looked at it, it had stopped at the exact time he passed away. 💜

Omg, this happened to my mum! She lost a one of her earrings my grandad bought her (her dad who passed away), she apologised to him when we were in away in Greece and weirdly, it turned up in their room on the bed.
