Mystique can mimic physical attributes but not to the extent of somone like morph. The “claws” just look like metal but are hardened bone and tissue. She can do the same thing with night crawlers tail or angels wings. The body parts will work how they’re supposed too but she won’t get the other powers. Most likely with the claws she can’t even extend and retract them like the real thing and just has to reshape her hands to replicate how he looks with them in or out

They have shown multiple instances of mystique being able to replicate the claws she just cannot make them as strong as the real ones
