Reverse grid is dumb. They need to make sprints worth more points so that drivers feel it’s worth it. That and or make them use only hards or softs. No more mediums

I do agree that it would be much more entertaining, but it still goes against the spirit of the sport. F1 isn’t like F2 or F3 after all. Performance should be rewarded, not punished. Tho at the same time they are punishing those with good engines so I suppose they are already going against the spirit of the sport so it might happen in the future.

honestly just make sprint the qualifying for the race on sunday thats the quickest, easiest, least controversial way to make it interesting 😭 so qualify for sprint, and then the finishing order of the sprint decides the starting order of the main race

This is a brilliant idea. It could also drive revenue for the smaller teams. More companies wanting to sponsor them because of the added coverage, which means more money, which will allow them to be more competitive in general. Which ultimately makes F1 more competitive

The problem for that imo, is that unlike f2,f3... F1 does q1/2/3 and so when you make it into Q3 for the midfield teams they will not try to qualify 8th but instead 10th to get the reverse grid pole. If it was 1 session like in f2 then the risk of dropping below 10th is a defining factor to keep improving.
