in my experience it's often players who don't show up that results in the game getting cancelled. the DM is on point and always ready while players have little investment even if they "are enjoying the game"

tried this game with my wife and kids. they just asked if was bigger or smaller than x number. cool, congrats, totally missed the point of the game. let's not do this again sometime
