I think it’s sometimes more than that. I have my bestfriend of all time, for 22 years now. But she wasn’t my moh simply bc she is unorganized, not a good planner, and less funds. She didn’t want the commitment and i was honestly thankful when she told me bc i was worried about giving her that responsibility

My best friend of 15 years want my MOH and I wasn’t hers! We were both bridesmaids and we were both okay with whatever the role was as long as we could be there for the other person however each other needed us to be! And we’re still besties. I’m sorry it hurts now, but it doesn’t mean that you mean any less to her. She still can’t do her big day without you! Just support her how she needs. Wedding planning is crazy stressful! You can also change into your dress after the wedding and wear it during the reception so money isn’t wasted!
