Have to disagree with you. It’s worked very well for me. I’ve gotten a lot of interviews using a resume that was written by AI. I wish people would stop saying this doesn’t work.

People can use AI output as baseline but they need to review edit review edit themselves. Without HITL resume will sound generic & obvious that it was written by LLM

If you stop using AI to review resumes, we will stop using AI to create them. Different standards for the creators as compared to the reviewers? We don’t have the time to custom create 20 different versions of our resumes every day to beat the AI and the ATS systems that automatically kick us out otherwise!

What do you mean exactly the same. Technically that’s not possible since each person has a different role with different metrics and achievements. So can you be more specific on what you mean by this. I have been hearing this a lot and no one actually demos what that means.

I get ignored when I made my own, had Claude rewrite it and it’s general for my field, I got calls and interviews instantly. Use AI folks, these recruiters are wrong

Or be a company that will be personable, actually take the time & effort of actually read resumes and go back to how it should be to find a good employee. You want the employee to put the effort and hard-work in when they get the job, do the same thing to get us.

I’ve gotten lots of interviews and landed 3 tech roles after transitioning from a different industry based on how I use AI. Use AI but don’t take the first output it gives you.

Let’s start with the systems in place to create a barrier that we’ve never seen before. This is disheartening to now admonish job seekers for doing what the systems are asking for. Resumes aren’t all starting to look the same. Recruiters have gotten lazy.
