I really didn't want to post about this, but I can't stay quiet anymore. It's getting out of hand. Honestly, I'm so disappointed, hurt, and tired to see how SOME ARMY's are using Twitter as a playground to mock and degrade SEVENTEEN. I will never understand why you have to drag another group to uplift your own. Yes, every fandom has the right to protect their idols. I respect that so much. You love BTS, we love SEVENTEEN. That love is valid. That's normal in K-pop. But please understand this: Being protective is different from being disrespectful, cruel, and inhumane. You have NO right to use SEVENTEEN's trauma, pain, and weakness as a joke, as a meme, as a weapon for fan wars. You don't have to use Wonwoo's pain of losing his mother— his deepest wound that he is still healing from — as a punchline for your tweets. You don't have to mock S.Coups and Hoshi's injuries, their hiatus, their tears, and even wish them more pain and misfortune just to win an argument that doesn't even matter. You don't have to call DK a "manchild" just because he was brave enough to show his emotions and cry on Weverse Live. Since when did showing emotions become something to be ashamed of? That was him being REAL, being HUMAN. That's not fan love. That's cruelty. And it's disgusting. And you definitely don't have the right to use SEVENTEEN's suffering for clout, for likes, for retweets, for engagement farming by destroying and mocking them. Let's be real — SEVENTEEN never did anything to you. They are 13 humble boys who just love music, love performing, and love CARATs. They endured years of hardships, injuries, and personal losses just to keep going and give us comfort through their songs. They deserve respect, just like BTS deserves respect.
