It's been underwater for almost 90 years, I doubt it's even remotely explosive anymore. Besides, how will simply removing the masts reduce an explosion if it were to detonate?

Sadly, many people kept entering the exclusion zone and climbing them. Vessels have had near misses with them too. Clearly cannot navigate. 1400 tonnes of active explosives. 2026
