as a military spouse, it's crap. I've paid for care without insurance so that I could get a qualified doctor before. The military allows what would be a nurse in the regular world to have the authority of a doctor.

Hard to know yeah an unlucky doctor vs “just careless” could be forced to leave medicine and many would say our insurance plus jury system I guess USA wide pretty much causes that all the time wow do many of them end up at the VA here that’s scary for veterans because many of them presumably shouldn’t be in medicine anymore…
