@itvnews: Protesters have taken to the streets of London to raise awareness of what campaigners call Jamaica’s beach access crisis. For millions of people, Jamaica is the ultimate Caribbean paradise. But for many Jamaicans, getting to the beach isn’t as simple as it seems. After more than a year investigating the issue, ITV News reporter Cree-Summer Haughton travelled across the island to find out why communities say they’re being shut out of their own coastline. From Bob Marley Beach in Bull Bay, to Montego Bay, and now Brixton in London, the campaign for greater beach access is gaining momentum. ITV News contacted the Jamaican government for a response to the issues raised in this piece but had not received a response at the time of publication. #jamaicatiktok #jamaica #jabbem #carribean#beaches
