They are naturally semi-nocturnal and are most active at night and when the sun is coming up. Imagine being crated during daytime then let out when you're sleepy at nighttime, would you be fully fulfilled and healthy?

Why do you not have a carpet or soft flooring for the rabbit to be on in the cage? Also please bear in mind that rabbits are more active in early morning and dawn, so you are likely keeping him in a way too small cage during his most active hours… it should be at least 2x3 meters

my little girl has FAR more space in her pen because she's in there more often, but they sure can get mischievous! always good to keep your bun safe when you can't watch them, as long as they like it

My bun is more like a dog. She’s never in a cage and doesn’t hurt a thing. Perfectly house trained. They love freedom and calm down when they have it.
