nope, I believe he liked him in his first lifetime too, but wasn't aware of his feelings towards him as lanzhan was! in 2nd life, he clearly understood, confessed to himself he's in love with wangji! it wasn't only admiration or just innocent teasing as he thought in his 1st life! it was romantic feelings for Lan zhan! unfortunately he was so caught up in wen clan affairs and all the cultivation world unjustified blaming on him, he didn't have any time to really think about his feelings and emotions to wangji!
