it's been 5 months housed from homelessness, and after four reorgs of my space, never settled, never satisfied, I'm finally starting to lean into a feeling of safety in life. sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind, but it's mostly because my heart is still broken from the street and the loss of so many friends. maybe it will always be broken, cause none of them are coming back, and I still have to move through this world without them. but then I see your toks, and remember that life is still beautiful. as are you, my friend. as are you.
