I did ha Giang then sapa, Cat Ba, then down to Ninh Binh, phong nha, Hue (give that a miss), Da Nang and Hoian. Lots of good caves in Phong nha, don’t bother with Ba Na Hills, biggest waste of money and hype for the naffest theme park up a mountain.
