I’m just gonna say this. I dated a guy who told me wanted to marry me after 6 weeks. No proposal - just words. After 9 months together we broke up bc he wouldn’t even have a CONVERSATION about living together. The girl he dated before me - he was with her for 5 years in a poly amorous relationship. They never got married or engaged. The pattern they had before you matters.

I need help/advice: I met a guy on Bumble at the beginning of August. we texted almost every day (not 24/7 I don't like that). we went on dates, we also slept together. now 2 weeks ago his v close friend's wife/husband (Idk the gender) got intubated 'cause of a brain tumor & I was checking on him every 2 days for updates. on Tuesday I asked him if he'd like to meet to get his mind off of things & he thanked me & said he needed more time & that's the last time we spoke. anything to do here? I like him but I also don't like the silence 'cause I feel like he's filling it up w someone else
