Having to pretend you dont care ab stuff is SO PAINFUL! Because we know there's absolutely NOTHING to gain by speaking up. And the ONLY way to learn that lesson is the HARD WAY. You can see the awkwardness on their faces right after you say something because Whenever people brings up these topics, they DGAF about YOUR opinion, they just want you to agree with theirs! AND GOD FORBID yours is different, bc now youre the "downer" or the "weirdo" and now their morale towards you changes and start treating you like crap from then on. The sad part is that, EVEN if you keep to yourself they STILL HATE YOU, bc to them it feels like you think youre better than them and they hate as well for it... so there is NO F***ING WAY OF WINNING for a neurodivergent in these situations 😒

people also don't ever seem to think that things like homelessness would ever happen to them or a loved one, my brother was homeless and it came with a new view of the world its heartbreaking and uncomfortable but we as people need to acknowledge that it happens and we are closer to people who are homeless than they think.

I feel so isolated because of this. I get teased for the ever growing list of stores and products and media that I just won't give my money to.I cant help it honestly, i haven't eaten Chick-fil-A in 20 years.i dont have an Amazon account. I refused to go to the new Spiderman film. I feel like a freak of nature sometimes bc of it. its seen as a quirk at first, eventually it turns into frustration from my partner, my friends and my family toward me for it. my sense of justice is seen as unreasonable.
