@1010wins923: Jabal the Brooklyn bodega cat was returned to his owner, and a woman has been charged in the alleged catnapping. The 3-month-old kitten went missing from outside the Eighth Street Mini Market in Park Slope last Thursday. The bodega’s owner, Imad Innab, said surveillance video showed a man and woman walking off with the feline. After residents got word out about the missing cat, someone brought him back to a precinct stationhouse. Police officers returned him to the store on Tuesday. Mary Sierra, 58, was arrested on charges of petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and companion animal stealing. Innab told 1010 WINS that he was relieved to have Jabal home. “I want to thank the community. I want to thank my customers, my neighbors. They are not my neighbors; they are not my customers. They are family,” he said. What did Jabal do when he got home? “He went back to sleep, and since then just to sleep,” Innab said. 🎤 @thesusanrichard has the story 📸 Shniece Archer 🔊 Tune into 1010 WINS AT 92.3 FM for more local news #nyc #newyorkcity #nycnews #parkslope #brooklyn #bodega #bodegacat #cats #kittens
