As a 💯 Gay man I wish I could have chosen to fit in to everyone else being straight so I didn’t have to hide in high school and my college years life would be so much easier but now that I’m out and proud of who I am I wouldn’t change me

Being gay is not a “lifestyle.” It is a innate sexual orientation. A person’s romantic and sexual attraction to others is a natural, deeply ingrained part of who they are, rather than a conscious choice or a learned behavior.

It’s not a choice and for Straight people to try and tell gay people what it's like to be gay is like a white person telling a black person what it’s like to be black.
