@kimlightupyourface: Does your eyeshadow disappear by noon… or somehow multiply into every crease? 😂 Welcome to mature eyelids. Here’s something we don’t talk about enough: we all have some discoloration on our eyelids. Veins, redness, uneven tone, darker areas… and as our skin changes, all of that can become a little more noticeable. That’s why I almost ALWAYS start with an eyeshadow primer. A good primer helps: • Even out discoloration • Neutralize redness and visible veins • Give eyeshadow something to hold onto • Keep color from disappearing or settling into crepey lids • Create a smoother, more polished-looking lid And shoot… you don’t even have to put eyeshadow over it! On simple makeup days, primer alone can make your eyes look brighter and more finished. I’ve been using the same one for YEARS because it works beautifully on my mature lids.
