@julian.halm: September 13, 2026: The 2 talented actresses from my birth country Indonesia, Putri Marino @Putri Marino and Hana Malasan and the talented director Kamila Andini 🤩 at the world premiere of their latest movie, the Indonesian 🇮🇩 movie “Four Seasons in Java” aka “Empat Musim Pertiwi” by Kamila Andini at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2026 @TIFF in Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 My review of the movie: It’s an excellent movie! I really love it. Definitely recommended. I can totally see why it was selected for TIFF this year! What an important and impactful depiction as well as deep messages about social issues like rape and the unfairness surrounding it which is happening all around the world but especially Indonesia to a worst degree. Also starring Arya Saloka and Christine Hakim. Excellent actings all around! Excellent cinematography at Bromo area, which was in my birth province of East Java! Love that almost the entire movie was spoken in Javanese of East Java accent, which was basically my mother tongue lol! 😅 My grade: 10/10.
